Taken over by ads that block stories and then kill the ap

I am fed up with the WSJ. The comments are bad enough - but now I am getting ads that block stories and then kill the app. I have removed the app from my iPad and will think long and hard about re-installing it. Meanwhile I am also debating cancelling my subscription. The unfiltered hatred expressed in some comments are so bad that I wonder what the hell has happened to this country.
