The WSJ app is part of my daily routines!
Timely, broad and in-depth coverage of world and business news. The Wall Street Journals reporting is excellent, also in the app!
...& visually stunning. On the downside, price is TOO high
First, and most annoying, it doesnt work on Blackberry Z10, regardless how many times its uninstalled and reinstalled. Not sure if therell ever be a patch to correct. Then on the iPhone, I get a sense that this isnt the entire paper in the print edition. Mind you theres updates that dont show in the print. Unfortunately, reading the paper first thing in the morning is irrelevant for updates (dont get me wrong I dont dislike it), as being in the office who better live news services, having the full print edition would have been ideal.
Fantastic!
I love wsj content. Too bad the App is still terrible. With every re-write of the App comes new bugs: - volume control slider for videos is gone - unable to edit full screen videos; the close "X" icon doesnt work! - WSJ Support has NO way of identifying you as a subscriber if you pay through iTunes! So your support questions go unanswered And now there are annoying unskippable PRE-ROLL ADS before videos. Its almost as though a wsj competitor is managing the App, and purposely trying to reduce readership.
I love this paper and living in Canada did not have access to delivery of the paper. Now I can read it first thing in the morning! It looks awesome on the iPad. Its exactly like the printed version but you dont get any black ink on your hands. The paper is worth every cent and I do not begrudge the WSJ for the subscription rates.
I read a lot of papers and magazines on my iPad and I must say that WSJ is consistently the best of the bunch. There is just enough photos and videos to complement the written content which is what I am there to access. I like the way the material is organized. It makes it very easy to navigate. Its a great way to start my morning.
Im delighted with this site. The range of information is extraordinary. It gives me the financial analysis I need plus the cultural stuff I like. Every day is good but the weekend paper is terrific.
And the print issue trumps both. However it has VR which was entertaining.
As title
Excellent functionality, easy to navigate and simple to move from section to section. WSJ has the best app Ive seen for a newspaper and I read a bunch.
Fixed most issues and finally a smooth app.
The WSJs content is unrivalled. The app is a great platform for allowing readers to move through each days paper easily and intuitively. I like how the appearance of newspaper pages is retained.
If you enter an article the ability to go back to home page sometimes disappears and requires you to flip through all articles to return.
Easy to navigate and read. Been using it for over a year. Great!
Please add words and web search function embedded in the articles.
After the last update the app crashes at launch every time.
The app is okay - just okay. It would be nice to see an interactive delegate count on voting days on the home page. Preferably, a graphic that is native to the application; not one that opens in Safari. Additionally, a feature indicating which stories have been read, like in NY Times and Reuters apps, for example, would be greatly appreciated.
Get it!
