Fabulous content and the app has never worked better. Wonderful variety of articles.
WSJ has the best business news. The ap is easy to use, comprehensive and updated continually. Breaking news is delivered right to you. A must-have e-paper.
So I payed for a subscription hoping to get some reputable news. Its pretty pricey but thats ok for quality of the content... Until I noticed ads all over the place. Theres a 30 second un-skippable ad before every video. There are ads in the news timeline. Seriously? Its especially frustrating because this is a very basic app; its basically a glorified RSS feed. Ridiculous for the price. No wonder this industry is dying; theyre punishing their paying customers.
Great App. It keeps you informed on world events.... not only financial events.
Great app. Laid out nicely. Very informative
Everything youd hope for in a news app including the great reporting of the Wall Street Journal. This along with the Financial Times, Washington Post, and the Independent are musts.
Love reading my digital Wall Street Journal! Keeps me up to date on whats going on in the market and also love the articles from front to back.
Great content, terrible app. In 1996, you could quickly and easily load news content using html and a browser. In 2016, with sophisticated technology and coded apps, we somehow cant achieve the same thing.
Exactly what you would expect from a renown brand like WSJ. 100% worth it!
Well written and data based analysis in majority of articles
Delivers. News as it should be!
I really like the App however 2 things are annoying. It tends to freeze up on opening more now than before and the biggest thing is when I think I have the last 3 issues totally downloaded and get on a plane with no wifi then find out many articles are not downloaded. This has happened many times. I really like the news and WSJ not afraid to have a conservative viewpoint on the issues that matter.
Good tech delivery of product. Political news has some balance and less ranting analysis then others.
Nothing more to say
I have been a user for many years and while i love the content - it has been a poor experience overall with this app. While it could be faster - i still have not gotten over the last major upgrade they made (in the last year) where they actually took away features and made the app worse! Why did they take away the portfolio tracking feature and why did they take away access to the additional properties such as CIO Journal? I thought it was temporary but no follow-up and no communications with the users as to why. I also use the browser version on my lap top and it pains me when i see an artice featured, hit the link and get told that i have to buy more licensing at Barrons to read it - really?? I dont pay enough already for the subscription which is not chump change? Please please, design this for your users
Good content but often slow to load especially in Search.
In addition to the WSJ I also subscribe to a another, more local, newspaper. I like the WSJ for its comprehensive international coverage and for the in-depth special issues and reports.
In my opinion, this is the high water mark of news app design. However, the download of new issues can be very slow, the editions screen does not refresh, or the app requires a restart. I can miss reading the current issue on the app during my busy mornings due to the performance issues.
