Good content

App is very slow to load and refreshes every time it opens. It can take up to 10 min to load - ridiculous. And the articles dont download unless youre using the app so its pretty useless offline which would be a great functionality if it worked properly

I am a paying subscriber. Great content delivered in a very poor piece of technology. WSJ needs to learn from NYT, FT and Economist. This app lags and takes forever to load and start upon opening. If this is as good as it gets in terms of technology at the WSJ you have to wonder what the brain trust is thinking.

The old wsj app - meaning all the way up to about early-mid 2015(?) - was terrible. Extremely slow. The new one is a *huge* improvement. They got the message finally and did a much-needed overhaul. Great.

Overall the WSJ app is fantastic, a four out of five. The news of course if high quality, the opeds well written and thoughtful. Occasionally odd quirks emerge such as unexpected routing to a browser without warning. Also navigation is awkward; it took me quite a while to realize you have to use the menu to get to additional content, it doesnt just show up in the appropriate section.

This new app eats a lot of data roaming.

Huge problem in getting update. Always have to refresh app data. Waste of time. Wish it to be smooth like this used to be...

I am quite disappointed with this app, especially considering it is a paid service. The app is slow to refresh articles and I sometimes read articles that I think are new but are in fact a couple of days old. It also refreshes too often when reading an article and if you are half way down, it sends you back to the top again several times. Very frustrating. I would hope a company such as the Wall Street journal would invest in a better app! Bright side is that the content is good but I would expect that from a paid subscription. Im starting to think Bloomberg news may be enough as that app is good.

...terrible app. Uses about 3gb of data per month; just to load text articles!!!!

This new design is like flip board. This is good. But text is not easy to read. Please improve. And loading time is too long.

doesnt update propery it takes forever. badly sometimes it just updates only the timestamps. hope u fix problems asap...
