Easy to navigate and always find relevant information. Great articles and opinion columns that are always worth reading.

Interesting stories, well written and a well formatted app thats easy to navigate and has what you are looking for
By far the best news reader app. Presentation mimics the tactile satisfaction of reading print news very well. Nearly perfect combination of e-media with print journalism. Only gripe is with the search functions. Frequently I will get notifications of a story Id like to read, but when I open the app, that story is not easy to locate, even if I type in keywords straight from the notification. Would get five stars, but for that. Kudos on an app well designed!
Best newspaper app but the new fonts are bad and the font sizes are too small.
I have had continuous issues with this app and this latest update simply will not work. It refuses to even open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted and everything else to no avail. Seriously considering canceling my subscription since it really is beginning to seem I am paying for nothing!
Best newspaper app (and best newspaper) out there. I began reading in college and this paper has literally changed my life.
I log in almost every day. Since becoming a subscriber the content is a must for daily readers and the apps layout works fine. However, sometimes you log into the app and the articles dont refresh and update themselves. It takes a couple of times for the app to actually gather updated news. Given WSJs cost, this shouldnt be something readers are bothered with.
I read the Journal online every morning. Opening it this week, however, I discovered the latest update introduced fonts that were smaller and much lighter in weight. This makes reading it much less pleasant... Content is still great, but I already find myself skimming past articles I would have read before the change.
I use this daily and generally love it but the news updates are still buggy. Often have to go to setting / refresh content to be sure Im not reading yesterdays paper...
I have been among those astounded about the inability of the WSJ to create a workable app. But I can report that the new version isnt as clunky as it seems. Heres what to do: Delete the WSJ app from your iPad. Then REBOOT the iPad (dont skip this step!!), then re-download the app. Im happy to report that it now actually works reasonably well.
Application very easy to navigate between different sections and articles. Liked the ability to quickly change font size when reading glasses not available. Only disadvantage is data takes awhile to refresh if not on WiFi.
This version would be better if previous week issues didnt automatically default to cloud access. I would like to access issues from several days before hand when I am outside of wifi coverage.
Improving all the time.
The WSJ provides excellent journalism, great research and facts. Its a pleasure to read. Thanks
Ive been a fan of the WSJs reporting for awhile now (and have been regularly using their app and website), and the end experience seems to always improve. I enjoy the interface of the iPhone app more than the iPad app, however, but the content and viewing experience really is phenomenal.
Your new layout and type are pretty. But they are also functionally problematic. For instance, the wide kerning and light faces degrade readability. The extra leading (space between lines) reduces reading speed and your columnization often results in lines of just three words. Finally, did you field test this with anyone over the age of 25? Tsk, tsk. You guys should know better.
Generally, OK, but keeps annoyingly bugging me to download the app, which I have done long ago. And it wont allow me to exit this request. So I have to reboot and start over. I feel like Charlie Brown when Lucy jerks the football from him. .... Aaaaahh!!!
Please stop asking for reviews if positive and feedback if negative. Shouldnt solicited reviews be unbiased? Why would you make it harder for folks to give honest feedback?
Great app! I like the notifications on breaking news. It wont always refresh the latest stories. This is why I gave it three stars.
I like that I now have the option to refresh articles when I want. App is easy to navigate and easy to read.
